Here We Go Again...: Buffy #14 and Every Generation review

With Covid-19 causing more trouble than the Hellmouth, it’s taken a while for me to get hold of these most recent issues of the Buffy comics, but what I can tell you is that they are well worth the wait. So without further delay, let’s dive right in... Buffy #14 The fourteenth issue of Buffy picks up a little way after the events of Hellmouth . Willow has left Sunnydale, Buffy and Kendra are (tentatively) working together, Wood’s making the moves on everybody’s favourite blonde Slayer, and Joyce has bounced back with alarming if predictable speed. This issue seems to be all about the relationships that are both forming and crumbling at Scooby HQ, with Giles mentoring both Slayers as they struggle to get to grips with sharing the town. Reminding me of the banter we saw play out on screen between Buffy and Faith, I once more find myself loving how the comics have taken time to flesh out Kendra as a character. With so little to go on in the show, it’s a relief to see that p
